Welcome to the DSM Guide Wikia

Your guide to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), past and present! The DSM, published by the American Psychiatric Association (APA), offers a widely accepted criteria for mental disorders. After the first edition (DSM-I) was published in 1952, there have been several new editions, and the most recent (DSM-5) was published in 2013.

Currently, there is only one editor, and I (the editor/admin) don't expect that to change. I wanted to make a wiki that only I could edit in the first place, but I find this the easiest wiki site to use. I will be making each page only able to be edited by administrators/moderators, but if I miss one please don't edit it! This is mostly a personal interest project of mine, but I hope that making it public is also helpful to others.

If you happen to be visiting this Wiki before this paragraph has been removed, please know that this is a work in progress. It's going to take me a while to put up all the information I want to write.
